Composting Program
Welcome to Indianapolis’s first free community composting area! At Soul Food Project, we're on a mission to combat food waste, nourish our soil, and invite our neighbors to take part in a healthier, more just food system.
Why Compost?
- Keep food waste out of landfills
- Improve soil health, plant growth, and crop yields
- Use less water—compost helps soil retain moisture
